Risk disclosure
Last updated · 13 June 2026
MYRA Bank is a fictional brand presented for demonstration purposes. This disclosure is illustrative and is not financial advice or a recommendation to hold any particular asset.
Holding and exchanging assets carries risk. This notice describes the principal risks you should understand before opening an account. It is not exhaustive, and you should consider whether the service is suitable for you.
1. Market risk
The value of the assets you hold can rise and fall. You may get back less than you put in. Past performance is not a guide to future performance, and we make no forecast about the value of any asset.
2. Volatility of digital assets
Digital instruments can move sharply in price over short periods. Their value may be affected by network activity, market sentiment, and events outside our control. They may be difficult to value at any given moment.
3. Liquidity risk
It may not always be possible to convert an asset quickly, or at a price you expect. Swap quotes are drawn from on-chain liquidity, which varies with market conditions. In thin markets, the amount received may differ from an indicative quote.
4. Technology and network risk
Transactions settle on underlying networks that we do not control. Congestion, protocol changes, forks, or failures on those networks may delay or affect a transaction. Once a transaction is settled on a network, it generally cannot be reversed.
5. Custody and security risk
We hold your assets with reasonable care and keep them separate from our own. No system is free of risk. The security of your account also depends on you keeping your credentials and signing device safe.
6. Regulatory risk
The rules that apply to digital assets continue to develop and differ between jurisdictions. Changes in law or regulation may affect how an asset can be held, exchanged, or valued, and may affect the service.
7. No investment advice
MYRA does not provide investment advice or personal recommendations. We hold and transfer assets on your instruction. Decisions about what to hold are yours. If you are unsure, seek independent professional advice.
8. No deposit guarantee
Assets held in this illustrative service are not covered by a deposit guarantee scheme. You should not place assets with us that you cannot afford to have at risk.
This notice should be read together with our Terms of account.
