A short bench,
long tenure
Where the house
needs hands
Nothing here that fits?
Write anyway. A house this size has been reshaped more than once by someone who described a job we had not thought to open.
Ten years from now
the same names
should answer the phone.
That is the whole of it. It rules out hiring in bursts, it rules out treating a seat as a rung, and it is the reason a member can be promised one banker rather than whoever is on the rota.
Six steps, stated
Your letter
Read by a person, not a filter. We answer either way, and we tell you which it is rather than letting a silence do the work.
First conversation
With the person you would report to. Half of it is ours and half of it is yours; a candidate who leaves without having asked anything has not been well hosted.
The work itself
Something you are proud of, gone through in detail with two colleagues. We are interested in the decisions you took and the ones you would now take differently.
A written problem
A real question from our own week, scoped to a few hours and never shipped. We do not ask candidates to produce work we intend to use.
A day with the team
You spend a working day on live problems with the people you would sit beside. It is as much your assessment of the house as ours of you.
References, then an offer
We speak to people who have worked closely with you, with your consent, and never to a current employer before terms are agreed.
MYRA Bank Ltd is the employing entity and is incorporated at its registered office in Mutsamudu, Autonomous Island of Anjouan. That address is where the company is registered and is not where these roles are worked. Roles not marked Remote have a place of work, which we give on the first call rather than on this page; wherever it is, a place of work is not a place of authorisation, and MYRA is supervised only where it is licensed.
