Banking that
crosses borders

One relationship for every currency you live in. Hold, settle and move capital across jurisdictions with a named banker and institutional controls behind every instruction.
// Accounts

Multi-currency,
by default

Balances recorded in USD, AED, ZAR and JPY side by side on a single ledger, with transparent FX. Account references are virtual identifiers issued through our correspondent institutions — read how they work below.
01

Virtual account references

Receive against virtual account identifiers issued through our correspondent institutions in the currencies you operate in. These are not accounts held with a bank in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

02

Transparent FX

Convert at published rates with the margin disclosed on every instruction. Rates are indicative until execution and are not guaranteed.

03

Segregated & reconciled

Client funds are recorded separately from MYRA’s own assets and reconciled continuously. Segregation is an operational control — it is not a deposit guarantee.

// Disclosure

How virtual account
references work

A virtual reference lets a payer send to you by name. It does not mean you hold an account at a bank in the country its identifier belongs to. The distinction matters, so we set it out in full.
01

Legal account holder

The underlying account is held by MYRA Bank Ltd with a correspondent institution. You are not the legal holder of that account.

02

Who operates it

MYRA operates the reference and the ledger position behind it. The correspondent institution operates the underlying payment account.

03

Where funds sit

Funds are held by the correspondent institution in its jurisdiction of establishment. That jurisdiction may differ from the country indicated by the identifier’s country code.

04

Not a local bank account

A reference bearing a European IBAN, a UK sort code or a Swiss SIC identifier does not mean you hold an account with a bank in that country, and no local deposit protection applies.

05

Name matching

The account name shown to a payer may differ from your own name. Under Regulation (EU) 2024/886, payee verification is performed by the payer’s institution and may return a mismatch.

06

What you hold

Your entitlement is a claim against MYRA Bank Ltd recorded on MYRA’s ledger. It is not a claim against the correspondent institution, and it is not covered by any deposit guarantee scheme.

Cards

A card the world takes seriously.

Metal cards settled directly against your MYRA balance, in any currency, with concierge and lounge access included by default. No points, no gamification — just a private instrument that clears where the scheme is accepted.

// Payments

Cross-border,
one instruction

MYRA settles through licensed correspondent institutions in the major clearing centres. Value dates depend on the correspondent, the currency and the receiving institution, and are indicative rather than guaranteed.
01

One instruction layer

Instruct once; MYRA routes through the appropriate correspondent. MYRA is not a direct participant in SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, Fedwire or ACH, and holds no payment institution or e-money authorisation in the EU, the UK or Switzerland.

02

No onward clearing

MYRA does not provide correspondent or clearing services to other financial institutions, and does not permit nested or downstream use of its accounts.

03

Standing structures

Recurring transfers, sweeps and multi-entity payments coordinated by your private office.
